As aMaintenance Engineer (Mechanical), youll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing production machinery to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Youll play a key role in supporting daily operations by carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and effectively
* Respond to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime
* Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation
* Replace worn or damaged mechanical components as required
* Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and improvements
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs
* Work closely with production teams to support operational efficiency
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
* Identify opportunities to improve machinery performance and reliability
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Engineer role
* Relevant engineering qualifications preferred
* Strong xsngvjr mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
* Experience working within manufacturing, production, or industrial environments
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations
* Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
* Reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach
Hours:
* 9:00am 5:00pm
* Monday to Friday
Salary:
* £45,000 per year
