Welder - West Lothian
We are currently recruiting Time served Welders to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment based in West Lothian. This role will see you working within a skilled team, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are consistently met.
Responsibilities include:
* Carrying out welding in line with traceability, health & safety, and quality requirements
* Following operating procedures to maintain weld integrity
* Producing fabrications to engineering drawings
* Using metal cutting equipment safely and effectively
* Completing pre-use checks on welding equipment and reporting faults
* Contributing to effective shift communication
* Supporting continuous improvements across safety, cost, and quality
What we're looking for:
* Time-served apprenticeship (essential)
* Strong understanding of welding equipment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Experience in Pulse TIG Weld Overlay and Sub-Arc Welding (advantageous)
* Strong communication skills and team-working ability
