We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism within a primary school setting.
About the role:
You will work both 1:1 and with small groups, supporting pupils with communication, structure, and routine.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide structured support using visual timetables and clear routines
* Support pupils with transitions and sensory needs
* Encourage communication and social interaction
* Work alongside teaching staff to adapt learning materials
* Maintain a calm and consistent learning environment
Requirements:
* Understanding or interest in autism support
* Calm, patient, and consistent approach
* Ability to build strong relationships
* Experience desirable but not essential
Working Hours:
* Full-time
* 8:30am – 3:30pm
