4. Provide clear, practical HR advice to ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant decision‑making.
5. Support organisational change, restructures, and role design, ensuring processes are well‑planned, compliant, and sensitively managed.
6. Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
7. Manage the HR & L&D budget, including forecasting and cost control.
8. Work with the L&D Manager to support mandatory training and wider development activity.

13. Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working culture.
14. Ensure HR practices comply with employment law, GDPR, and internal governance.
15. Lead or support employee engagement activity, including surveys and action planning.

25. Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
26. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
27. Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.

Desirable

28. Experience in a multi‑site or retail‑based organisation.
29. Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools.
