Role: Junior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in designing electrical systems ( lighting, power, fire alarms etc) for buildings in accordance with building standards and best practice.
* Assist with detailed lighting calculations, cable sizing etc using Electrical Design software.
* Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software.
* Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, reports.
* Participate in site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure design compliance.
Requirements
* Education:
A third-level degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit/BIM experience preferred.
* Experience:
1+ years of experience in a design environment, with a strong grasp of fundamental electrical principles. An understanding of construction sequencing would be advantageous.
* Soft Skills:
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management.
