Overview
Relief Extra Care Support Worker role at Creative Support. We are seeking calm, resourceful individuals who are highly motivated, hardworking and keen to support older people in Harrow in a proactive and holistic manner. You will have strong communication and engagement skills and demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all service users.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals to maintain a healthy state of wellbeing mentally, physically and emotionally.
* Empower individuals to be happy, healthy, and successful in achieving their life goals.
* Be willing to embrace all aspects of support, including personal care, domestic tasks, and assistance with accessing work, education and social opportunities.
* Work on a roster basis, including evenings.
Qualifications
* Minimum of twelve months' care experience is essential.
* A relevant professional qualification is desirable, but warmth and a person-centred approach are the most important qualities.
* Willingness to embrace all aspects of support as described in responsibilities.
