Position: Relief Hours - Senior Support Worker
- Senior Support Worker hourly rate - £13.29 (£14.29 on Saturdays)
Reporting to: Service Management team
We are looking for someone to support the service management team by doing some additional flexible work as needed, at Senior Support Worker level. To assist cover of adult and children's services as needed.
To be a proactive and a professional member of the team, ensuring high quality and compliant services. An effective problem solver and good communicator, with the ability to work flexibly and contribute to the ongoing development of the team and meet the needs of the service.
With the ability to provide positive ideas and solutions, provide cover as needed across the service, overseeing the work of support staff and service user care, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed, any issues resolved and taking on other duties as required by the organisation.
We are looking for a positive, committed, enthusiastic, empathetic role model who is able to put the people we support at the centre of everything you do, and communicate with a range of individuals such as parent/carers and professionals to achieve positive outcomes. Essential criteria:
· Ability to work flexibly across the week, including some Saturdays as allocated on the rota.
· A willingness to drive own and company vehicles in the carrying out of the duties specified in the job description.
· Ability to work across service user teams, including moving and handling.
