Do you have a background in B2B sales within the Technical/Scientific Sector?
We are now seeking a new Sales Engineer to join the Hertfordshire facility of a manufacturer of Scientific Instrumentation & Components.
Ideally you will be an experienced Sales Engineer with a background in developing both new and existing sales opportunities within the scientific sector.
Working closely with a diverse range of customers across the UK, your time will be split between business development of new customers and supporting and developing existing customers/sales.
On a daily basis you will be talking with customers via phone and email as well as undertaking customer visits and attending trade shows as required.
The successful candidate will have commercial sales experience in a similar market, ideally with OEM experience.
The ideal candidate should have an understanding in 1 or more of the following products/sectors -
Sensors/Sensing, Detectors, Lasers, Optics, Spectroscopy, LED’s, Imaging/Cameras, Analytical Equipment, Photonics or similar.
Product training will be given, but and understanding of this type of technology, and its applications is required.
