The role:
The Parking Services team within Liverpool City Council’s Neighbourhoods and Housing directorate is growing and we are currently looking to recruit 3 Senior Parking Enforcement Officers to join us at this exciting time!
The Senior Parking Enforcement Officer role involves supervising the day‑to‑day operations of the Civil Enforcement Officers including staff performance, the identification of problems and the initiation of appropriate action to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
The Senior Parking Enforcement Officer role involves a combination of office and field work, requiring you to work outdoors in all weather conditions for part of the day. It also involves working shifts and you will receive shift allowance and weekend enhancements as determined by your rota.
We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and influence staff. A good standard of education, awareness of relevant legislation and the ability to use initiative in problem‑solving and decision‑making are also required.
