At Artemis, we set the stage for the unforgettable. We are the UK’s largest operator of exclusive-use wedding and event venues, with a fast-growing national portfolio of 15 venues and a proven reputation for excellence across every touchpoint - from expertly delivered planning to immersive food and drink experiences.
We’re now recruiting a Regional Events Manager to join our Regional Events Team, supporting venues across the Artemis estate.
This is a hands‑on, highly varied role for an experienced events leader who thrives on autonomy, flexibility, and delivering outstanding events across multiple venues.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the Regional Events Manager works across all Artemis venues, providing high-level support in events planning, coordination, and delivery.
Support is often required at short notice, so you’ll need to be agile, responsive, and confident stepping into different venues and teams. You’ll play a key role in maintaining service standards across the group, supporting both wedding and non‑wedding events, and helping to train and develop our events teams.
You’ll also support sales activity, including show rounds and tasting events, and assist with the set‑up of new venues as our portfolio continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide regional relief cover for Events Managers and Coordinators during annual leave or vacancies
* Support event planning, administration, and on-the-day delivery across the estate
* Step in to coordinate or actively support service delivery when required
* Support show rounds, sales events, and tasting events, including planning and delivery
* Assist with the induction and training of new Events Managers and Coordinators
* Support the launch and operational set‑up of new venues
* Assess, maintain, and uphold service standards across weddings and non‑wedding events
* Work closely with onsite General Managers and the central Operations team
Hours & Working Pattern
* 2340 contracted hours per year (average of 45 hours per week)
* Due to the seasonal nature of the business:
o Quieter weeks may involve fewer working days
o You’ll generally work 5 out of 7 days, with flexibility required
* You will be required to work events on bank holidays
* During your training period, hours and days may vary as you travel between venues — reasonable notice will always be given wherever possible
About You
You are an experienced events professional with a strong background in weddings and/or premium events, comfortable working across multiple venues and adapting quickly to new environments and teams. You bring calm authority, exceptional organisation, and a hands‑on approach to everything you do, particularly when stepping in to support busy operations.
You enjoy leading by example and supporting the development of others, whether through formal training, on-the-job coaching, or simply being a reliable and trusted presence during key events. Highly proactive and solutions‑focused, you thrive in a fast‑paced, seasonal business and are happy to travel extensively as part of a national role.
