ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
You will work to ensure the full delivery of the customer contract within contractual guidelines and to effectively manage the management and engineering team, through target driven performance requirements, structured review meetings and to work closely with customer to provide overall efficiencies and profitability with no aged debt and a strong management and understanding of WIP and compliance. You will foster strong customer relationships, with a focus on the customers compliance and key deliverables as guided by your direct line manager who will provide support as and when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Effective, ongoing and structured management of the contract management team
2. Ongoing Health and Safety reviews across contract portfolio
3. Review permits and ensure contractors comply with high-risk works.
4. Regular reviews with site leads and engineering staff to ensure full compliance at all times
5. Monthly Contract Report – performance of contract portfolio
6. Maintaining PPM compliance and updating of ABM and Customer Logbooks
7. Oversee the implementation of the PPM schedule and updating Logbooks and KSC information as required.
8. Analytical reporting of contract performance
9. The production of an annual business plan for the following year which should be delivered by January 1st each preceding year and should encompass but not be limited to, KPI setting, a new technology/equipment and recommendations, efficiency proposals, upcoming legislative changes, customer service initiatives and an energy and environmental plan.
10. Regular performance and target reviews of engineering team
11. Appraisals of engineering team
12. Holding and execution of disciplinary hearings
13. Financial acumen – Full P&L responsibility for your contracts
14. Development of new business opportunities
15. Support to your line manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
16. Electrical or mechanical qualification at NVQ / C&G level.
17. Proven successful working relationships with high end service providers
18. Strong Understanding of Technical Compliance
19. Excellent knowledge of Excel and IT programmes
20. P&L accountability for all contracts
21. Commercial awareness
22. Strong communicator
23. IT Skills – Intermediate / Advanced level
