Job Summary
Senior CIAM Engineer – Permanent – Locations: Edinburgh, Peterborough or Witham – Expected starting salary £39,120 - £48,900 – Closing date: 17th November 2025 – Enterprise Technology is Aegon’s global IT partner providing infrastructure services, information security and corporate application support.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain CIAM strategies utilising Okta, Ping, IBM ISAM, and Federation Services.
* Support, document, and enhance CIAM integrations across platforms.
* Provide technical expertise, focusing on automation and process improvement.
* Deliver complex solutions independently, with minimal oversight.
* Uphold service level agreements (SLAs) and optimise the performance of web services.
* Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience with IBM Security Access Manager and Okta (Auth0).
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
* Knowledge of DNS, networking, Java/.NET, cloud, and scripting (JSON, PowerShell, Ansible, Java, Terraform).
* Understanding of access management, PKI, and security technologies.
* Expertise in SAML, OpenID, OAuth, federation, and hybrid cloud.
* Experience with ISAM/WebSEAL, cloud identity, and automation.
* Strategic thinking and familiarity with zero‑trust principles.
Working Hours
This role requires non‑standard working hours (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM BST) to collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
