We’re looking for a Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to lead the design and delivery of high-integrity control systems for technically demanding projects. You’ll act as a technical authority, shaping system architectures, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
What you’ll do:
* Lead EC&I design from concept to commissioning
* Define control architectures and specify equipment
* Produce and approve detailed engineering documentation
* Collaborate across disciplines and manage suppliers
* Support installation, testing, and client engagement
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to bids
What you’ll bring:
* Degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering
* Strong EC&I experience in complex or regulated environments
* Proficiency in CAD tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical)
* Familiarity with BS EN 60204, BS 7671, and related standards
* Full UK driving licence (travel required)
Nice to have:
* Chartered Engineer status (or working toward it)
* Experience in Nuclear, Defence, or Aerospace
* Knowledge of Functional Safety standards
