UX/UI Designer (National Security) Location: London (Hybrid working – 2-3 days on site) Clearance Required: SC clearance (DV preferred) About the Role: We are seeking a talented and user-centred UX/UI Designer to join teams delivering mission-critical solutions in the N ational Security sector. Working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you’ll be involved in the end-to-end design of secure, scalable and intuitive digital platforms that make a real-world difference. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to the research, design and prototyping of user-focused digital products for secure government and defence clients. Work closely with product owners, developers, analysts, and client stakeholders to understand complex requirements and design challenges. Design clean, intuitive interfaces that simplify interactions in data-sensitive or high-security environments. Create user flows, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma or Sketch. Advocate for UX best practices and accessibility standards throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in stakeholder workshops, usability testing, and user interviews to gather insights and validate designs. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate handover of assets and a smooth implementation process. What We're Looking For: 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally with experience working in complex or regulated sectors (e.g. government, defence, health, finance). Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design with a focus on solving real-world problems. Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision). Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and secure design principles. Strong communication and presentation skills; able to convey design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences. A growth mindset, with a desire to learn new skills and contribute to improving design processes and workflows.
