Role Overview

Perth Support Practitioners

Full-time and part-time contracts are available for Support Practitioners at Ark Perth. The position supports individuals with learning disabilities in shared living accommodation and may include outreach work. The role requires caring, creative, and empathetic individuals who thrive in busy environments.

Pay ranges from £13.45 per hour (£27,350.04 pro rata) up to £13.75 per hour (£27,960.08 pro rata) after probation.

*Sleepover shift consists of working during the day, a rest period sleeping over in the service, and then working again the next day. The sleepover period is in addition to contracted hours and is paid an additional £100.80 per shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
• Communicate and work well with supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
• Be responsible in supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
• Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system.
