CCD Studios is an award-winning digital agency, based in the suburbs of West London. Due to our continued growth and success, we’re recruiting for a backend Junior PHP Developer to work on our (Sitepad Software) to join us, either remotely or in our spacious canal-side studio.

The Role
In this role, you will have the chance to work with our development team, working collaboratively on digital solutions and bespoke software solutions.
Qualifications:
* Industry experience as a Junior PHP developer
* PHP 8 (has at least worked with PHP 7)
* MySQL
* HTML / CSS (good knowledge of Sass would be a plus)
* Can write high-quality, readable code efficiently
* Is experienced in working with external APIs
* Has experience working with version control, preferably git
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain the backend of our web applications using PHP.
* Integrate external APIs to enhance the functionality of our applications.
* Collaborate with the frontend development team to ensure smooth integration between the frontend and backend.
* Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues and bugs.
* Optimise application performance and scalability.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
