Senior Care - Residential - Bank role at TieTalent
As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will look after the different needs of residents to enable quality, person-centred care and support. You will lead a team of care staff, including training, supervision and delegating duties on shift. You will also support administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams and resident family members. You will respect the dignity and preferences of residents and contribute to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
About You
The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting, with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support residents’ needs and wellbeing. We seek warm-hearted, compassionate individuals committed to providing individualized care and support. The role offers ongoing training opportunities and clear potential for career progression into roles such as Care Practitioner, Care Community Lead or nursing pathways.
Contract details
This is a Bank position to provide cover as and when needed (e.g., for annual leave or sick leave). Hours and days will vary.
