The Opportunity
ARM is recruiting on behalf of a specialist Solar PV Operations & Maintenance provider managing over 200MW of commercial and industrial solar assets across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solar PV Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or O&M Engineer looking to move into a predominantly office-based technical role, supporting the delivery of technical solutions across a diverse portfolio of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities
* Review engineer reports, inspections and test results.
* Analyse faults and identify remedial solutions.
* Provide technical advice to clients and internal teams.
* Prepare quotations and scopes of work.
* Specify replacement components and remedial works.
* Support procurement activities and supplier engagement.
* Provide technical guidance to field engineers.
* Assist with technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Essential
* Minimum 5 years' Solar PV industry experience.
* Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial PV systems.
* Experience fault-finding and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of inverters, monitoring systems, DC systems and electrical testing.
* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* Solar PV O&M experience.
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
* ECS Gold Card.
* Experience producing technical reports and quotations.
* PV design software experience.
* Knowledge of HV-connected solar installations.
