Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records of all drawings and other construction documents issued by consultants and contractors through each stage of the project.
* Process a large number of documents daily, including quality assurance checks, printing, review distribution and electronic forwarding to create an accurate and comprehensive audit trail.
* Ensure that every drawing or other design document is received by the relevant trades and consultants.
* Manage the request for information (RFI) process, providing reports to the project team as necessary.
* Provide the team with timely and accurate answers to all document control‑related queries.
* Undertake regular reviews of the system to ensure effective use across the projects.
* Maintain an accurate, efficient and user‑friendly filing system, ensuring that copies of drawings and documents are easily found.
* Communicate to the project team the capabilities of the document control system and provide training, technical and procedural support for all users.
* Site administration.
Requirements
* Experience using Viewpoint (formerly 4Projects).
* Knowledge of document control and/or construction industry processes/terminology.
* Experience using an electronic document control system.
* Experience working within the construction industry in a similar role.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook and Excel).
* A valid driving licence is required, as the role will be site‑based.
