Team Coordinator for Children's Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team
Job summary
Only available to current NHS employees of Cornwall Foundation Trust Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, and Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board.
The role supports the countywide children’s neurodevelopmental assessment team, addressing a diverse workload and ensuring consistent service delivery.
Main duties of the job
* Coordinate clinical service daily to ensure commission is met.
* Deliver all administrative processes, including clinical administrative tasks.
* Assist service development: audit tools, waiting list monitoring, process development and new waiting list initiatives.
* Line‑manage the clinical admin team, completing supervision/appraisals.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential
o NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent with substantial relevant experience.
o Good basic education including English and Maths.
o Substantial experience of administrative work in a health setting.
o Experience of coordinating a service or team.
o Innovative problem solving, excellent IT skills (Word/Excel/email/PowerPoint/internet).
o Working knowledge of services delivered to children and families.
o Excellent communication, ability to discuss difficult matters.
o Organise meetings and take minutes; attention to detail.
* Desirable
o Health and safety training (e.g. IOSH).
o Management/leadership training or qualification.
o Experience of delivering training.
o Previous experience in a community setting.
Contract & Pay
Permanent, full‑time. Band 4. Salary £27,485 – £30,162 a year (Schedule A, Agenda for Change). Working pattern: Full‑time.
