Working Hours: 08:30-17:00

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Payments Assistant to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, with a strong focus on employee expenses and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Process a high volume of payments, including cheques and same-day transactions
Manage and process employee expense claims accurately and efficiently
Maintain and update payment tracking systems
Support regular financial reporting activities
Conduct self-audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and controls
Assist with invoice processing and reconciliation
Work extensively with Excel to manage data, track payments, and produce reports
Skills & Experience Required
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Experience in payment processing or a finance-related role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Understanding of basic accounting principles (desirable)
