Here at Stonewater, we are seeking an Insurance Specialist to lead and provide insurance advice and services to the Homes department.
You will develop and maintain relationships with insurers and consultants, review external stakeholder services, and ensure a robust insurance framework that meets legislative requirements and minimizes risks. You will communicate effectively, assist with claims processes, liaise with solicitors, and support change management initiatives.
As an Insurance Business Partner, you'll analyze data related to Homes claims, manage reports, track liabilities, and present key issues for decision-making. You will also ensure policies and procedures are current and effective, providing training when necessary.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience in insurance management, working with underwriters or brokers.
* Have experience managing insurance policies and relationships with brokers, insurers, and legal professionals.
* Be knowledgeable in claims analysis and legal aspects of insurance governance.
* Possess organizational skills and be an effective internal advocate for change.
* Have ongoing professional development in the insurance sector.
* Be a member of CII or hold a degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related fields.
* Be detail-oriented, methodical, and capable of organizing activities and resources efficiently.
* Be a strong communicator, able to engage with team members and stakeholders effectively.
* Have a solid understanding of FCA regulations, vulnerable customers, and GDPR.
