About the Role
We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis. You will support pupils with communication needs, sensory differences, social challenges and learning barriers, helping them access education and build independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for learners with SEN and ASD
* Implement behaviour regulation and emotional support strategies
* Assist teachers in delivering structured, differentiated learning activities
* Help maintain a calm, safe and positive classroom environment
* Promote communication, confidence and life skills development
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to meet individual needs

Essential Experience
Applicants must have:
* At least 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN
* A patient, empathetic approach and strong behaviour-support skills
* A commitment to helping vulnerable learners succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
