Togather
Marketing executive
Posted: 19 August
Offer description

Togather started life as Feast It in 2017 as a booking platform for people to book street food caterers for their birthday parties and weddings. Since then, we have grown to become the UK’s biggest events platform, as Togather, for food, drink, venues, photographers and so much more.

We’re here to help people make amazing memories on some of the biggest and best days of their lives. Whether they’re planning a whole-company summer party, organising their wedding, hosting an epic dinner party, or running an entire festival, we can - and do - help with all of it.

We’ve worked with everyone from Amazon, Nike and London Pride, to Tom Cruise, Star Wars and Taylor Swift. We recently came #7 in the Startups 100 Awards and have been named in the top 15 in Tempo's 50 Best Places To Work. Our team truly love and care about what they do, which makes working here that much easier.

The Role:

We’re looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing Executive to join our marketing team on a temporary basis (12 months initially). This is a varied and exciting role for someone early in their marketing career, offering the chance to work across both retention and brand marketing at one of the UK’s most exciting events businesses.

You’ll support the day-to-day delivery of our email marketing programmes, helping us deliver highly engaging campaigns that drive bookings, keep customers and suppliers engaged and bring our brand to life. You’ll also play a key role in shaping our social content - from scheduling posts and helping us tell supplier stories, to writing blog content, customer brochures and other comms.

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of marketing channels, with plenty of room to take ownership and bring your own ideas to the table.

What you’ll be doing:

* Email marketing & CRM: Build and schedule marketing and lifecycle email campaigns across B2C and B2B audiences. Help shape the customer journey by updating automated flows and suggesting improvements. Write and send emails to our customers and suppliers regarding new product releases or other updates.
* Content & copywriting: Write engaging copy across a variety of formats, from email to blog posts, social captions and brochures. Proofread and help maintain a consistent tone of voice across all brand communications.
* Social media support: Work alongside our Brand Lead to schedule and publish social content across our key platforms. Interview suppliers and visit some of our events to create content and spotlight supplier stories.

Must haves:

* Have at least some professional experience in a marketing role, internship or similar
* Are confident writing marketing copy that’s clear, engaging and tailored to different audiences
* Have used a CRM and/or email & marketing automation platforms (we use Salesforce and Customer.io, but any experience is valuable)
* Are organised and happy managing multiple projects at once

Nice-to-haves:

* A Marketing degree or similar relevant education
* Basic design skills (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
* Experience working with Website CMS (e.g. Webflow)
* Any hands-on Experience creating social content - Videography/Photography, video/podcast editing…etc
* Salesforce experience would be an advantage
* Comfortable working with data and reporting tools
* An interest in the events, food or hospitality industry
* Experience working in a startup or fast-moving team

Our offices are in London and we work with a hybrid model which requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.

We are passionate about equal opportunities and improving the tech industry for the better, so if you are from an underrepresented background then we would particularly love to hear from you.

* Generous holiday allowance (25 days), plus bank holidays
* Enhanced Pension
* EAP service
* Enhanced Mat & Pat leave
* Free coffee, beer, pizza and an overly stocked snack cupboard in the office
* Significant discounts in a lot of London's best restaurants, bars and more
