The position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by acting as the company Legal Counsel supporting operations in Europe.

Essential Duties and Tasks

* Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial documents, including supply, purchase, non-disclosure, service, energy, and joint development agreements.
* Managing corporate filings and governance procedures for company operations in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Switzerland.
* Advising on competition law aspects of agreements and initiatives.
* Supporting M&A integration and harmonization of policies and practices.
* Providing counsel on import/export and trade compliance issues.
* Ensuring data privacy compliance, including GDPR.
* Advising on ESG, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and modern slavery compliance.
* Handling customer and supplier quality claims.
* Managing outside counsel relationships.
* Collaborating with various internal teams, including legal, HR, sales, procurement, and quality.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

* Professional qualification (Solicitor or equivalent).
* At least 8 years of proven experience, including a minimum of 2 years in-house and experience in large law firm corporate practice.
* Manufacturing experience and knowledge of accounting governance are preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
* Results-driven with strong time management skills.
* Familiarity with the packaging industry is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
* Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information appropriately.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
* Proactive, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated and professional, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
