The Role
We are looking for a committed and values driven Team Manager to join our Leaving Care Service.
Our Team Managers play a vital role in creating the conditions for high quality services for our children, young people and families. They lead with care and integrity building strong relationships and supporting their teams to grow, develop and thrive.
Team Managers guide and support their practitioners to find solutions together, encouraging learning and reflection whilst ensuring practice is safe, effective and responsive, keeping children and young people at the heart of what we do.
In the Leaving Care Service, that means working alongside young people to keep their voices central to Pathway Planning, helping them achieve their goals, and supporting the team to do their best work.
About You
You will be an experienced and confident leader with strong social work knowledge and practice leadership skills. You will bring the ability to inspire, motivate and support your team, while balancing the demands of the service delivery with staff wellbeing and development.
You will be skilled at building positive relationships, making clear and fair decisions, and working collaboratively with partners. Most importantly, you will be passionate about supporting care leavers and committed to ensuring young people have the best possible start to adult life.
