Basic Requirements both roles :
1. Full UK Driving License
2. Enhanced DBS Cleared – We work in very sensitive Environments - Deal breaker – We do DBS
3. Right to work UK
4. Able / willing to travel into central London every day
5. Out of hours working essential – Rota Basis – emergency cover only.
6. Experience as a supervisor not essential but highly desired
7. Experience of being a lead engineer essential.
8. Must have own hand tools - (we will provide drills)
9. There will be a requirement to provide technical assistance to junior engineers as the first point of technical query prior to escalation to the operations manager.
10. The bulk of our work is based in London and the home counties however on occasion stretches to the North of England, Scottish Highlands and the south of England.
Hard Skills and experience in the following areas for both roles :
1. Intruder Alarms: Texecom alarm panels, Scantronic alarm panels, Pyronix alarm panels, EMS Panels.
2. Access Control : Paxton (CRITICAL) & PAC (DESIRED)
3. Door Entry : BPT, Ferma,Net2, Videx,
4. Video door entry : BPT & Comelit.
5. CCTV Systems : Hik, DVR's,NVR’s.
6. Analogue Systems : IP cameras & Networks.
7. Fire Alarms Systems : Analogue & IP Network, Advanced, C-Tec Kentec systems are critical.
8. Menvier panels, Galaxy Panels
9. Fire Extinguishers
Experience :
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in working on both fire detection and security systems.
- Able to evidence by reference experience of working as a supervisor/ working supervisor/ lead engineer or similar.
- Experience working in Central London
- Experience in working in both a Domestic and Commercial environment with emphasis on the commercial environment
- Experience working for a corporate business

- City & Guilds 1853
- EAL Level 3 Diploma in Providing Electronic Fire and Security Systems – Either / Or
- FIA Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Units Inc Commissioning - Either / Or
- BS 5306-3 Certification
- FIA Fire Extinguisher Maintenance Course
- CompTIA Network+
- Structured Cabling Installer Certificate

- There is standby payment for each night the engineer is on call, these amounts will be discussed at a formal interview.
- Salary : £40-47.5k
