Job description
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School near Bury St Edmunds starting from March 2nd 2026. The successful candidate will be supporting a Year 2 Student 1:1 and supporting in classrooms until July.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location -near Bury St Edmunds
* Position – Teaching Assistant
* Contract or position start date – 2nd March 2026
* Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing booking until July
* Contract type – Long-Term
* Full time/part time – Full time
* Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate around £95 per day
* Hours – 8:30am – Mon & Tues (gradually increasing to a full day)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
2. Previous TA experience
3. Previous SEN/EHCP/SEMH experience
4. GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
5. Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
