Job Summary
You hold a Social Work Degree (HCPC Registered) and are a Warranted Approved Mental Health Professional. You are experienced in applying relevant legislative frameworks such as the Mental Health Act 1983, Care Act 2014, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards 2009. You have worked with mentally disordered offenders and possess a comprehensive understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and professional standards. You demonstrate strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
As a Forensic Social Worker and Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP), you will provide high-performing social work services to adults with mental health disorders, particularly working with mentally disordered offenders. Responsibilities include conducting Mental Health Act assessments, developing support plans, managing a caseload, and providing professional supervision and leadership within a multi-agency framework. You'll work closely with internal and external partners to ensure effective service delivery and safeguard vulnerable individuals.
