Job Description
Join the LEGO® Retail team as a Space Planning Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping how our most iconic stores come to life!
In this newly created role, you’ll lead the space planning for our China flagship stores, building tailored planograms and ensuring best-in-class merchandising execution. Working closely with Visual Merchandising, Floor Planning, Retail Operations and Global Space Planning, you’ll bring structure, clarity and creativity to some of the largest and most complex LEGO® retail environments in the world. If you’re energised by combining data, store experience and commercial insight to create impactful retail spaces, this is your opportunity to make a visible difference in a growing global function.
We're pleased to share that we offer a hybrid working week arrangement called Best of Both, requiring 3 days in the office location in London and 2 days from home.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
The closing date for all applications will be Wednesday 10th December 2025.
Core Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke space plans for China Flagship stores, ensuring best-in-class execution that reflects brand standards and local needs.
* Build and maintain monthly planograms for all China flagships, including lifecycle ownership, updates, accuracy, and communication to local store ops.
* Embed greater structure, rigour, and governance in space planning, transitioning stores from ad-hoc placement to consistent, data-led plans.
* Partner closely with China Visual Merchandising, integrating campaigns, activations, fixtures, and cultural nuances into store layouts.
* Collaborate with Floor Planning & Retail Development to coordinate space by theme and support fixture development and floor-plan alignment.
* Optimise space and range performance through sales, capacity, and SKU analysis, identifying opportunities to improve flow, visibility, and productivity.
* Support regional execution across EMEA and AMS, sharing best practices and helping elevate flagship planograms beyond generic templates.
Do You Have What It Takes
* Hands-on planogram creating expertise (using tools like Blue Yonder / JDA / Nielsen Spaceman or similar).
* Experience in retail space planning complimented by visual merchandising or assortment planning, ideally for multi-category, high-volume environments.
* Strong analytical capability – able to interpret sales, capacity, and productivity data and translate into clear space recommendations.
* Floor planning exposure (understanding fixture layouts, bay configuration, adjacencies, customer flow) – big advantage.
* Excellent collaboration skills, able to work with VM, Floor Planning, Retail Ops, and assortment/range teams.
* Ability to drive structure and process in a newly established function, embedding routines, governance, and best practice.
* Strong communication & influencing skills, especially with store leaders and operational partners.
* Fluency in English, with strong interpersonal skills.
