Job Overview
You will work within a team of four Personal Assistants supporting the Senior Leadership Team in Local Policing. Your duties will enable the team to deliver on their policing portfolios, both locally and regionally.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive diary management: make appointments, arrange meetings and prioritise competing demands for Managers.
* Work independently and proactively manage issues and problems in the absence of the Managers.
* Coordinate liaison with other Force senior managers and external organisations to ensure briefing notes and documentation are available and requirements anticipated.
* Manage meetings – book rooms, prepare agenda papers and take minutes/action items using Microsoft Teams.
* Manage communications on behalf of Managers auto's e‑mail, prioritise demands, delegate, distribute and flag information; anticipate potential problems and seek proactive solutions.
* Plan and coordinate travel arrangements as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 3 years’ experience in aалай secretary or administrative post.
* GCSE or equivalent (minimum Grade C) in English Language.
* Secretarial qualification(s) in typing or word processing such as RSA III.
* Clear, accurate and concise written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft correspondence.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to take a solution‑focused approach to any query or task.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to working hours, duties and required training.
Benefits
* Starting pay of £30,333.
* Based at Copse Court, Thorpe Wood, Peterborough.
* 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30. Hybrid working may be possible to support flexibility, though most hours are expected on site.
