BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgery & Sterile Supply Assistant to join our Surgery team!

We are seeking a Sterile Supply Assistant with a self-motivated, positive attitude to add to our surgical team. This person should be organized and focused on maintaininghigh-quality instruments and patient care through sterile preparation.
As a Veterinary Surgery & Sterile Supply Assistant, you will:
4. Prepare instruments and operating room for surgery.
5. Assist with surgical prep
6. Assist with intra-operative duties/scrub-in
7. IV Catheter placement and venipuncture
8. Assist with appointments
9. Radiographs
10. Client communication
11. Troubleshooting and removing faulty equipment from service to submit for repair or replacement.
12. Maintaining appropriate quantities of surgical supplies and equipment.
13. Decontaminating and cleaning operating rooms, sterile supply room, and equipment according to established procedures.
14. Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and wrapping packs
15. Serving as a resource/reference to surgical team with regards to surgical equipment.
