A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COCKTAIL BARTENDER AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY
What you'll be doing...
As a Cocktail Bartender, reporting to the Bar Manager, you will work closely with the team to provide exceptional service with a 'no half measures' attitude, ensuring a perfect guest experience.
* Preparing beverages efficiently and promptly.
* Providing a friendly, welcoming guest experience.
* Offering knowledge and creative drink recommendations.
* Assessing guest needs and preferences to make suitable recommendations.
* Making upsell suggestions where appropriate.
* Maintaining a clean and presentable bar.
* Operating Challenge 25 policy for safe alcohol service.
* Complying with food and beverage regulations.
* Adhering to pouring standards and completing regular tests.
* Handling tasks assigned by management and communicating issues.
* Setting up and maintaining cleanliness of the bar area.
* Preparing garnishes, stocking supplies, and transporting items as needed.
KEY SKILLS:
* Deep knowledge of in-house products and preparation methods.
* Strong understanding of classic cocktails.
* Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25.
* Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
* Punctuality and reliability.
* Ability to work well within a team to meet brand and sales goals.
