Job description
Trinity Business Support are supporting a high-profile client in the Wakefield area who are one of the largest 3PL suppliers in the UK, we are assisting them in their search for flexi/bendi/narrow aisle FLT drivers.
Applicants with an external or in-house flexi/bendi or reach licence and previous experience would be considered, pending an assessment on-site.
Duties & Reasonability's
* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse.
* Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads.
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Bendi Flexi/Counterbalance Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
* Basic maths skills for accurate inventory management and record keeping.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting, including moving loads of up to 25kg or more.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Shifts & Pay
* 4on 4off Shift Patterns
* Fixed shifts either days or nights 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am.
* £14.41ph Days or £15.20ph Nights
* Weekly Pay
Please note for the successful applicants it will be a 12-week temp to perm which you will be paid weekly through Trinity Business Support. After this period you will transfer to the client full-time and you will be paid monthly
