A profitable, venture-backed crypto infrastructure company is hiring a Rust Systems Engineer to build ultra low latency, high throughput blockchain infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
* Optimise systems processing tens of thousands of transactions per block
* Work on microsecond-level latency components
* Improve sorting and simulation pipelines
* Profile, optimise, deploy and iterate
* Ship code that directly impacts production performance and P&L
Requirements
* Strong systems programming in Rust or C/C++ with willingness to switch
* Deep understanding of concurrency and lock-free structures
* Strong knowledge of CPU cache, memory layout and branch prediction
* Experience profiling and optimising performance critical systems
* Comfortable owning systems end-to-end
Nice to Have
* EVM or blockchain knowledge
* Networking optimisation such as kernel stack or XDP
* Auction systems or game theory experience
