Rates: £16.41 - £30.90 per hour

Patient focus
Your clinical knowledge and experience will help you support seriously ill patients and their families through stressful and uncertain times. Responsibilities include taking blood and undertaking patient observations for emergency admissions. A calm, reassuring approach and empathy help ensure patients feel safe.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Provide constant monitoring and care for patients in a seriously ill or unstable condition.
* Actively supporting emergency admissions and their families, communicating clinical information to ensure effective understanding.
* Assess and prioritise patient requirements, delegating effectively to others.
* Recognise, review and report changes to patients/clients' condition to senior staff within the multidisciplinary team.
* Adhere to the NMC Professional Code of Conduct.
* Take blood, insert cannulae, undertake patient observations (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate and oxygen level) as needed.
* Treatment of resus patients and triage.
Essential Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
* Be a registered nurse.
* 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 2 years.
* Enhanced background check required.
