The Field Service Engineer will service, repair, and install our products and IT solutions at customer sites across the North of England and Scotland, including Newcastle, Lancaster, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. We seek a professional, motivated, friendly, independent, and technically skilled individual committed to excellent customer service.
This role reports to the North Field Service Manager and involves working within the North Service Team. If you excel in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and aim to contribute to building a world-class service organization, we encourage you to apply.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a professional image with customers and colleagues.
* Achieving first-time fixes to reduce breakdowns and costs, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
* Communicating effectively with regional teams and internal departments.
* Completing preventative maintenance and service modifications within designated timeframes.
* Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all work performed.
* Meeting departmental goals aligned with the company's operational plans.
Essential requirements:
* Weekend work on a 1 in 4-week basis.
* Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
* Experience with electro-mechanical/electrical systems at customer sites.
* Team-oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Ability to travel as required.
