Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 company vehicle Role Responsibilities Conducting thorough fire door surveys across a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial. Identifying and assessing issues with fire doors, such as damage, wear, non-compliance with fire safety regulations, and potential fire safety risks. Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for remediation and ensuring all work meets current fire safety standards. Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire door solutions. Ensuring all surveys are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and building codes. About the Candidate Experience in fire door surveying is essential for this role. Proven experience in conducting fire door surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9991, etc.). Familiar with survey recording software/apps/systems such as OneTrace, Boris, Bolster, etc. Strong understanding of fire doors, their installation, and their role in fire safety. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction. Full UK driving license (as the role includes a company car).
