Overview
It's an exciting time to join the team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. We are looking for an IT Vendor Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Head of UK IT Vendor Management, you'll lead, manage and develop key IT third party relationships with suppliers, vendors and business partners via the UK IT vendor management office across the AXA UK and Ireland estate. AXA supports flexible working arrangements; you can discuss and agree a pattern with Talent Acquisition. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending offices, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll do is aligned to delivering seamless integrated services through a range of suppliers, both internal and external, while ensuring the best possible operational services.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage key IT third party relationships to ensure partner offerings align with delivery of the IT strategy.
* Build effective relationships with UK procurement, strategic partnership office and legal teams.
* Lead regular strategic and operational vendor reviews to confirm contractual compliance and performance, identify and track improvement actions and opportunities to deliver additional value from the relationship.
* Develop and agree with customers and IT the strategy and management plans for each vendor.
* Engage with relevant IT stakeholders, ensuring due diligence and governance for onboarding, service introduction and ongoing management of vendors.
* Manage all aspects of the formal contract between vendors and AXA UK and Ireland (directly or via AXA UK Procurement), including ongoing contract reviews, renewals and changes.
* Manage regulatory and risk management processes for strategic IT partners to ensure compliance with AXA Group policy and FCA regulations for AXA UK and Ireland.
* Track and maintain the status of statements of work and work orders through development, execution, change and completion.
* Develop and maintain an ongoing partner lifecycle approach and manage third parties strategically and operationally.
* High levels of commercial acumen and financial awareness to drive value for money, cost savings and avoidance.
* Licence management exposure and experience dealing with IT vendors is highly desirable.
* Experience with IT contracts, service levels and statements of works; good awareness of IFC and relevant legislation.
* Proven track record in developing strategic relationships and driving win-win solutions to support innovation and competitive advantage.
* Ability to work collaboratively and influence multiple executive-level stakeholders.
* As a precondition of employment, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
Requirements
* Chartered Institute of Procurement (CIPs) level 3/4 qualifications or equivalent supplier management experience.
* Experience of developing a partner lifecycle approach and managing third parties both strategically and operationally.
