The role
will require an ability to work as part of a team delivering a range of tax services to the insurance market.
What your days will look like:
1. You will work as part of a team to deliver a wide range of corporate tax services to insurance clients
2. There will be opportunities to develop deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the insurance sector as well as gain exposure across tax specialisms, including mergers & acquisitions, international tax, finance & treasury tax, tax audits, and group restructuring
3. You will collaborate closely with tax professionals within the team and at client organisations
4. There is the opportunity to build capability and accelerate your own development within a market-leading Insurance Tax team
This role is for you if:
5. You have a strong UK corporate tax background
6. Experience of working on tax compliance and tax advisory assignments
7. Good tax accounting knowledge
8. An ability to communicate effectively both with colleagues and senior stakeholders
9. Good knowledge of Word and Excel and be able to demonstrate an interest in developing skills in newer technologies such as AI
10. A desire to take advantage of new opportunities for learning, sharing knowledge; and thinking creatively
11. If you have a tax qualification such as ACA/ATT/CTA qualification or equivalent (or working towards)
