We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated CT Radiographer to lead our busy CT department. You will work closely with the Superintendent and Clinical Specialist to deliver a high quality service for our patients whilst meeting waiting list targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the CT department and line manage the Superintendent and Clinical Specialist.
* Work closely with the Imaging Manager and Service Manager to monitor waiting lists and develop new pathways.
* Collaborate with the North East London (NEL) CT network to share ideas and strategies.
* Ensure the 3 CT scanners are run in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
* Maintain an expert level of technical knowledge within the modality.
* Provide high‑profile clinical specialist support to CT radiographers and the department.
* Liaise with Superintendent radiographers regarding staffing and other resource issues, and manage dedicated CT staff.
* Interact with senior hospital staff members, reporting and advising on service demands and delivery.
* Articulate knowledgeably and effectively on complex technical issues to all service users.
* Standardise protocols, manage patient bookings and waiting lists in line with national targets.
* Ensure CQC, IRR, and IRMER requirements and responsibilities are met.
* Ensure Clinical Governance is regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
