Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Utility Arborist to join our team in the Southwest area. This role is vital in supporting our mission to maintain safe and healthy trees around utility infrastructure and public spaces, ensuring environmental sustainability and community safety.
Responsibilities
* Perform tree pruning, removal, and maintenance tasks using hand tools and power equipment.
* Inspect trees for health and safety hazards, recommending appropriate actions.
* Operate machinery such as excavators when necessary for large-scale tree work.
* Support landscape maintenance activities to ensure the aesthetic and ecological quality of sites.
* Follow safety protocols and industry standards to minimize risks during operations.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
* Assist in site preparation and cleanup post-work to maintain a professional environment.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience with hand tools and power tools used in arboriculture.
* Knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, or gardening is advantageous.
* Mechanical knowledge or experience operating machinery such as excavators is preferred.
* Strong commitment to safety procedures and environmental standards.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications or training in arboriculture or tree surgery are mandatory.
