Role Overview
Working closely with the Center Director, Residential Life Manager, and staff, you will oversee student residential life, ensuring their wellbeing and safety. Responsibilities include planning accommodation, organizing transfers, and managing health and safety at the center.

* Contract: Temporary, fixed-term
* Hours: 52 hours over 6 days/week
* Salary: $966/week, paid biweekly
Your Profile and Responsibilities
Understanding of Policies and Procedures
Read and adhere to the Residential Life handbook, promoting safety for all students, staff, and group leaders.
Student Arrivals and Departures
Provide a warm welcome, organize orientation, issue ID cards and bus passes, and coordinate airport transfers.
Student Awareness
Respect and meet students’ cultural, religious, dietary needs, and assist their adjustment to life in the UK, including safety and legal information.
Management
Manage Residential Assistants in the absence of the Residential Life Manager and deputize when necessary.
Student Supervision
Supervise students during the day and night, ensuring attendance, behavior, and safety. Work with group leaders to enforce policies and rules.
Care of Individual Students
Support students, especially those away from home for the first time, including wake-up duties, medical accompaniment, and addressing homesickness.
Residence Management
Build community spirit, maintain discipline, and report damages and issues promptly.
Health, Safety, and First Aid
Implement safety policies, display emergency information, assist with fire drills, and provide first aid when needed.
Communication and Record Keeping
Share key information with the team and management, maintaining accurate records.
Candidate Profile
Essential
* English proficiency at CEF level C1/CAE/IELTS 7.0
* Residential experience
* Strong administrative and organizational skills
* Computer literacy
* Problem-solving, initiative, adaptability, empathy
* Enjoy working with children and teenagers from diverse cultures
* Ability to address large groups
* Professional appearance and composure under pressure
Desirable
* Current First Aid certification
* Experience with children, dorm management, summer schools, activities, supervision, physical activity
