Technical Administrator – Contractors Team

Permanent

Salary up to £25,500 plus excellent Benefits

Môrwell Talent Solutions is recruiting for a Technical Administrator to join a highly successful and growing organisation in Cwmbran. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established client who are recognised for delivering large-scale building projects.

You’ll be joining a small, supportive team of three within the Contracts function, while also being part of a wider department of around 20 people.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in providing administrative and project support to ensure building projects run smoothly and are on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating and monitoring projects from enquiry/quote stage through to delivery.

Liaising with builders, builders’ merchants, and colleagues to keep project planners and Gantt charts updated.

Logging enquiries and booking them into the system.

Preparing and typing up quotes, with accurate data input.

Following up on the status of quotes and providing updates to the team.

Ensuring timelines are tracked and communicated clearly across teams.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Confident, assertive, and well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable liaising with colleagues, contractors, and external suppliers.

Detail-oriented with strong administration skills.

Proactive in keeping on top of project timescales and ensuring smooth communication between all parties.

Strong Excel skills are vital for this role.
