Vertu Audi Hereford — Senior Vehicle Technician
Join our team at Vertu Audi Hereford. We are offering a basic salary between £30,000 - £38,600 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40-hour working week, with Saturdays paid as overtime and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity. We’re also offering a £2000 sign-on bonus. You’ll receive £1000 when you join us and an additional £1000 in month 13 of your employment.
Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Senior Technician you will be the expert in carrying out diagnostics and undertaking servicing and repair work on customer vehicles. You will effectively use your technical knowledge and skills to ensure you and your colleagues are working efficiently. You will be expected to liaise with service advisors, customers and senior management ensuring excellent customer service and a professional approach at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
Responsibilities
Carry out diagnostics, servicing and repair work on customer vehicles as a Senior Technician. Use technical knowledge to support efficient teamwork. Liaise with service advisors, customers and senior management to maintain excellent customer service and professional standards. Ensure quality workmanship and aim for first-time fixes.
Qualifications
* A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
* Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
* MOT license preferred but not essential
* Your own set of tools
* A full UK driving licence
