This is an ideal opportunity to join my client, a well-respected, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy renowned for lending their expertise to projects across the Civil and Structural Engineering landscapes. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced, enthusiastic Civil Engineer with a strong background in Drainage and Infrastructure who is willing to take on a challenging array of projects across a variety of sectors, based near the modern, green city of Milton Keynes.

Responsibilities for the role of Civil Engineer include:
8. Designing drainage, highways, and external works across new build and refurbishment projects
9. Producing technical documents with respect to the relevant Section Agreements (particularly S38 ,S278, and S104)
10. Liaising with clients and other stakeholders at all stages of project delivery, from initial inception through to successful implementation and delivery
11. Mentoring other colleagues, sharing best practice and aiding in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Required skills and experience for the role of Civil Engineer include:
12. A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
13. Demonstrable experience of working in a design-based role in a UK consultancy setting
14. Prior experience of producing Drainage Strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
15. Experience of highways and external works design
16. Excellent working knowledge of relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, Ground Modelling, WinDes, etc.
17. Previous experience of liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
18. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
19. Good literacy and numeracy skills
20. The ability to work as part of a high-performing team, as well as on your own initiative
21. Full, valid UK Driving Licence
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Civil Engineer include:
22. Prior experience of the Flood Risk sector (including authoring Flood Risk Assessment) or Transport Planning
23. Experience in the use of BIM
24. Previous experience of managing an extensive range of projects
25. Good working knowledge of Civils 3D, Site 3D, and Revit
26. Possess Chartered Status (or actively working to attain this)
