Purpose of Role
The individual will have the responsibility to achieve sales targets and drive company growth in the UK home market for Tufftruk. Through developing the existing customer bases, by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with National hire companies and equipment distributors, negotiating sales contracts, together with placing / promoting and selling new product lines for Tufftruk and its partners.
The individual must be well organized, with good communication skills. Hold a full UK driving licence, be available for overnight stays near customer locations from time to time. Knowledge and connections within the UK hire, Construction, Contracting and Equipment Retail sectors are desirable.
Key Responsibilities
· New customer prospecting in existing Equipment Hire, Construction and Equipment retail sectors.
· Open new customers in Re-cycling, Demolition and re-construction.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with National accounts, distributors, and sales representatives.
· Visit existing customers and new customers.
· Negotiate sales contracts and terms, manage the sales forecasts, and ensure sales targets are met.
· Increase UK equipment and spare parts sales profitability.
