Job Description
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) sought to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and help lead the next phase of growth across a private equity-backed multi-site manufacturing platform on New Hampshire's Seacoast. This role offers the opportunity to play a central role in scaling a business through operational discipline, improved financial rigor, and future acquisitions.
The CFO will have broad responsibility across finance, accounting, and business operations, with a strong emphasis on building a salable, KPI driven operating environment. The successful candidate will combine strong financial leadership with hands on operating judgment, deep manufacturing experience, and the ability to drive accountability across multiple sites and functional teams. Main duties and responsibilities include:
1. Leading accounting, finance, FP&A, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, internal controls, and financial reporting across the platform
2. Partnering closely with the CEO and operating leaders to improve margins, inventory performance, procurement discipline, and return on invested capital
3. Using data and analytics to identify opportunities for margin expansion, process efficiency, and working capital improvement
4. Supporting plant level accountability and performance improvement across multiple locations
5. Building a scalable finance and operating infrastructure to support growth
6. Supporting acquisition diligence, integration planning, and post close execution for add on acquisitions
7. Standardizing reporting, controls, KPI frameworks, and management processes across acquired businesses
8. Partnering with leadership on capital allocation, strategic planning, and long-term value creation
