We have facilities across the UK and are looking for new talent to join our team in Burnley.
Key Tasks
1. Work collaboratively with all internal teams to drive improvements in external and internal complaints, implement CAPA, reduce the cost of quality, and improve production outputs.
2. Actively seek out, plan, and deliver quality improvement projects across all performance areas.
3. Carry out project work using quality and production data feeds.
4. Action investigations as they arise, ensuring work is completed within the 1/1/1 deadlines.
5. Monitor quality standards and processes using quality data; present quality metrics when required.
6. Work with the quality and production teams to create and maintain standards for manufactured products.
7. Ensure compliance with BRCGS and ISO 9001 International Standards.
8. Collaborate with the Quality and Production Teams to improve quality performance, decrease complaints, and internal quality issues, reducing the cost of quality.
9. Support the internal auditing system and participate in third-party audits.
The successful candidate will need to have:
* Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of BRCGS and ISO 9001 standards.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and an assertive character.
* A positive, “can-do” attitude.
* Good IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
* Experience in the flexible plastics packaging industry would be advantageous.
