Job Description
Founded in 1984, our client deliver solutions for mechanical, electrical, fire and electronic security systems. They are a UK engineer contracting company with the headquarters in Cardiff, Wales. They design and install fire alarms, security systems, sprinkler systems and other products required within an office environment.
They employ around 120 people including a team of about 60 engineers across the country including Northern Ireland and deliver services to over 500 commercial, industrial, blue light and 3rd sector organisations.
Following a period of growth having won new bids and with various projects on the horizon they are increasing their recruitment drive. Due to winning a new contract with Somerset Council to provide 24-hour call-out across their portfolio, they are now specifically seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to cover the Somerset area.
The Engineer will manage a schedule of planned maintenance across a given month which will be managed for them by the office team, and reactive call-out services.
Key requirements:
Engineers will need to be nationally vetted and as a minimum requirement have an advanced DBS check. This will be undertaken when the candidate is onboarded.
The successful candidate must possess a valid, UK driving licence.
